Product solution: Subsim Submarine consists of three game stations that requires close collaboration among players in order to prevent the submarine from the main station from “sinking”. In order to win, the players need to collectively win three rounds of the game. To win the round, each player needs to shout out the command they receive on their game panel that are meant for the other stations to help their fellow players complete their tasks.

INSPIRATION

This game was created to challenge the fact that most games are largely impersonal. Even when games are made so that people can play together, people ultimately end up playing alone (in a sense). You can not win this game without active, clear communication with the people you find yourself playing with.

GAME INTRODUCTION

Subsim Submarine is a fun, distributed and cooperative simulation game. Gather three of your closest friends and choose stations. Press play to begin. Commands will show up on your screen -- but these aren't commands for you, they are commands for your fellow crewmen. Shout them out and hope you hear your commands before you run out of time! Make sure to check the submarine to know how much health you have left and how much progress you have made.
